Rozdzielacze FAST XDi Sportsman zostały zaprojektowane w celu zapewnienia najbardziej precyzyjnego sygnału wyzwalającego w całym zakresie obrotów silnika wyścigowego. Osiągnięto to dzięki zastosowaniu zaawansowanego czujnika Halla, który jest następnie konwertowany na sygnał akceptowany przez większość układów zapłonowych CD. Zaletą czujnika Halla jest brak opóźnienia, powszechnie nazywanego kompensacją czujnika magnetycznego, co pozwala na stabilne utrzymanie synchronizacji od biegu jałowego do obrotów wyścigowych. FAST podjął również znaczne wysiłki w celu zmniejszenia luzu osiowego w rozdzielaczu, aby wyeliminować wszelkie wahania synchronizacji i uszkodzenia zębatki. Każdy rozdzielacz jest dostarczany z wysokiej jakości wirnikiem i kopułką rozdzielacza. Należy stosować sterownik zapłonu FAST (seria E6 lub E7). Należy pamiętać, że nie ma mechanicznego wyprzedzenia, synchronizacja jest zablokowana. Rozdzielacze XDi Sportsman są dostępne z kopułką o dużej średnicy w stylu Forda lub z kopułką o mniejszej średnicy w rozmiarze punktowym GM z zaciskami HEI.
