The Ford Performance Hood Lift Kit for the Mustang platform is an excellent "OEM" addition that adds to the premium feel to the car. Which was missing every time you open the hood.
The installation is nice and easy once you got the tool set ready and a mindset that the instructions from Ford Performance are on a Left Hand Drive, which for Right Hand Drive markets, keep in mind the battery cover is positioned on different sides. Otherwise everything is straight forward, and yes the Gas Struts rotate, so if you think you've got the wrong orientation, softly rotate the Strut to line up with the directions.
