Its cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. aFe developed this sturdy 18 gauge steel wrinkle-black powder-coated heat shield to mount onto the lower half of the factory airbox to provide a hassle-free installation utilizing factory mounting locations.
