In turn, COMP Cams has developed U.S. Patented Cam Phaser Limiter and Lock Kits for Chrysler HEMI 5.7L, 6.1L and 6.4L V8 engines. The limiter kits limit maximum Cam phasing to 14 crank degrees (7 Cam degrees) to provide the necessary piston to valve clearance when using larger aftermarket Camshafts. Meanwhile, lock kits take all movement out of the phaser. Combining these performance modifications with more aggressive Cam profiles will result in larger upper RPM gains without sacrificing any bottom end or mid-range performance.
